To be a good fit for the Maintenance Technician opportunity, you will have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and training or certification in relevant skill or trade
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a relevant field
• Familiarity with electrical, robotics/PLC and/or mechanical/hydraulic equipment Quick question for you - click here

• Experience with injection molding is a plus

You will join a team that includes several other Maintenance Technicians and custodial staff. We manufacture PVC shutters and other exterior PVC building products, and the main process is injection molding. During your shift you will work with injection molding equipment, robotics, DME controllers and others. The team also handles some building utility maintenance, services powered industrial vehicles (PIVs), and maintains automated custom assembly equipment. Quick question for you - click here

You'll focus on people, process and/or systems as it pertains to the upkeep and/or repair of all plant processes, systems, buildings, and production equipment. The role includes responding to line calls, performing preventative maintenance and project work. Your ability to respond by use of effective mechanical, electrical, process or support systems skills is critical for success in this position. You'll also work to eliminate failures resulting in downtime having a direct impact on the plants the overall available operating systems.
